TEXT FORMAT
- Submitted text is preferred in a Microsoft Word document, but we can read many other word processing files. We prefer text to be emailed direct to the editor, but you may send text on a CD, or as a printed, hard copy. See contact details below.
- Please include author’s name and complete contact information with all submissions. A title and brief introduction to preface features are also encouraged.
PHOTOS
We require illustrations or photographs to accompany projects and features where possible.
- Requirements for photos and artwork:
- High-resolution digital images that are at least 1 Mb in size for JPEG format (4 Mb+ for TIF images) with a resolution of 300 dpi. Images may be sent via email, on CD or uploaded to our ftp server online.
- Hard copy photographs printed on photo-lab quality paper (not from an inkjet printer) are also accepted. Photographs must be sharp, clear and scannable.
- Camera-ready line drawings or computer generated illustrations to accompany photographs are not required, but encouraged, especially if they add clarity to a project. Drawings that need to be redrawn for publication are acceptable.
REMUNERATION
- We pay a nominal fee for features and varied editorial that meets our requirements and is submitted as a complete article. Payment is made upon publication of the article. The amount of payment is determined by the editor based upon, but not limited to, the following criteria: article and photograph quality, length of article and overall complexity of the work.
- If remuneration is warranted, contributors may also choose to take their payment in the form of magazine subscriptions/renewals, back issues, or advertising credit. Please contact us for more information.

THE SMALL PRINT
- The following appears on the contents page of each issue and should
be understood by all contributors prior to submitting:
- All material submitted to the magazine is accepted on the basis that copyright in the work will be vested in the Publisher who assumes all rights worldwide, in all forms and media. Submitted materials cannot be returned unless accompanied by a stamped addressed envelope. In any event the publisher can accept no responsibility for loss or damage to contributions. Material is accepted solely on the basis that the author accepts the assessment of the Publisher as to its commercial value. All material submitted to the magazine is subject to editing.
